I have to agree that I find the information incomplete. For example, as to Tijuana, one of the largest cities in Mexico, there is no discussion of parks, or any activities outside of revolución and zona Rio. There is no discussion of the public transportation system (such as it is, namely the Calafias), nor the only taxis that visitors should take (Taxi Libre, as they are the only taxis in Tijuana with meters, so that visitors don't get ripped off). The fact that the second largest city in mexico by population (1.8M as of 2020, versus 1.6M for Leon and 1.4M for Guadalajara), is given about 15 pages in a 415 page book, is a disgrace. The author and I must come from different planets. I read her book, went to Baja, and left the book behind for the next sorry soul who reads it. The sites, sounds, feel of the towns and environs are not as she describes them. This is so much the case that I read her descriptions to my grown children sitting in a cafe in La Paz one morning to see if I was blind and semi-delusional. We laughed a lot. No matter, it's the stories that count. You don't need this book for that.
